Genealogy Web Site UpdatesA brief note to let everyone know that the National Archive of Ireland now have the 1911 census records for Antrim, Cork, Donegal, Down, Dublin, Galway, Kerry, Kings County (Offaly) and Wexford online.

It's free to use, and I did a search for my family in Cork a couple of days ago. I was delighted to find a copy of the original census so have to say well done to the people putting this together.

Sources for InformationA source entitled,  The Search for Missing Friends, Irish Immigrant Advetisements Placed in the Boston Pilot has helped me to find the year of immigration, ship used and other wonderful clues about my ancestor.  Most importantly has given me a place in ireland to search.
